june 1

june is...

barbeques
anticipation of the summer solstice
celebrating
the ice cream machine in constant rotation
flip flops and dirty feet
sunglasses
cool evenings
harvest of spring crops
creative salads (more on that soon)
a short trip to minneapolis
new skirts
late nights

tell me what june is for you in the comments, or leave a link to your blog post about it.
happy june!

  5. I like the anticipation of the longer days.
lettuce from my garden, sitting on my deck; iced americanos, the end of school and no packed lunches.

piles of mandarins in the market: 15 for 40 cents

--> loving the fact that local mandarins are yellow and green on the outside, that they haven't flown across the ocean

tastier tomatoes than during rainy season
